Local support drives additional screenings across D&G

A Dairy Story continues to find enthusiastic audiences across Dumfries & Galloway, with packed screenings and additional dates being added in response to local demand.

The film’s screenings at The Fullarton in Castle Douglas in early January were packed, with audiences staying for extended Q&A sessions with David Finlay and dairy manager Charles Ellett.

At RBC Film Theatre in Dumfries, the initial evening screenings sold out quickly, prompting the cinema to add a subtitled screening and two additional dates in late February and early March. The Lonsdale Cinema in Annan has also added a second matinee screening. Q&A sessions following the screenings have generated thoughtful conversations about farming, animal welfare, and the challenges of system change.

Screenings in Dumfries & Galloway will continue into February at the ‘What If? Film Club’ in Moffat, The Ryan Centre in Stranraer and the film returning to the RBC Film Theatre in Dumfries on 28th February and 1st March.

Full screening details and booking information can be found on our Screenings page.
