Picturehouse Cinema Green Screen Events

We are delighted to announce that A Dairy Story will open with a run of Green Screen events at Picturehouse cinemas, and tickets are now on sale.

Green Screen is Picturehouse’s strand for environmental and issue-led cinema, and every one of these screenings is followed by a panel conversation with David Finlay, the farmer at the heart of the film, joined by voices from the growing cow-with-calf movement and from our partners.

Cinema City, Norwich — Thursday 30 July
A preview screening ahead of release. David Finlay is joined by Philip Lymbery, Global CEO of Compassion in World Farming, and Norfolk farmer Rebecca Mayhew of Old Hall Farm.

Cameo, Edinburgh — Tuesday 4 August
Our release-day screening. Peter Stevenson, Chief Policy Advisor at Compassion in World Farming, hosts a conversation with David Finlay and Charles Ellett of Rainton Farm, alongside Fred Berkmiller of l’escargot bleu and Charlie Buchanan-Smith of The Free Company.

Exeter Picturehouse — Tuesday 11 August
Anthony Field, Head of Compassion in World Farming UK, hosts a conversation with David Finlay and local cow-with-calf farmers Sam Bullingham of Taw River Dairy and Barry Davies of Norton Court Farm.

The Little Theatre, Bath — Wednesday 12 August
Ed Ayton of Abel & Cole hosts a discussion with David Finlay and Jon Cook of Dora’s Dairy near Swindon.

The Regal, Henley — Thursday 20 August
Donald Sloan of the Oxford Cultural Collective hosts a discussion with Pasture for Life researcher Sara Hall, David Finlay, and Nick Loat of Abel & Cole.

Duke of York’s, Brighton — Sunday 23 August
Donald Sloan of the Oxford Cultural Collective speaks with David Finlay and Anthony Field of Compassion in World Farming UK, alongside Josh Grogan of Abel & Cole.

You can book any of these screenings through Picturehouse. We would love to fill these rooms, and every ticket helps us show other cinemas that people want to see A Dairy Story.
